broken

Don't you hate it when your child's heart is broken and you can't fix it? Broken to a point that, even if common sense tells you otherwise, you are a afraid it has been permanently damaged beyond repair? Every realtionship that we have from the time of birth affects us in one way or another. I believe that we are who we end up being because of our relationships whether they are good or bad. We learn, grow, and become. I know that my girl will recover from this. She will be better because of it. She is growing up and I know in my heart that this is part of that process. But it doesn't change the fact that I hurt for her. My heart is broken right along beside hers. Don't forget, sweet girl, this too shall pass.

  1. Your words couldn't be MORE true. Something we find out as we get older..we NEED experiences like these to grow. It makes us appreciate the good things more after we've had to go thru the bad. She WILL understand one day..when she's not still right in the middle of it. It's just TOO fresh, right now. Beautiful, sweet girl---their LOSS!!!

  2. Too bad everyone in the universe thinks the wrong thing about the situation. Oh well.
